The 16-19 study programme requires you to take additional courses such as tutorial, enrichment and work experience on top of your 3 AS/A-level courses. Doing this will enable you to progress to university courses or employment with a great range of extra qualifications and skills.
If your predicted GCSE grades are all A*-B, you will have the option of taking on a fourth AS or A-level. We can help you decide the ideal number of courses to study at one of our regular A-level consultation evenings.
The study programme will give you the chance to:
- Build skills through non-qualification activities, such as tutorials and enrichment & work experience, to develop personal and study skills.
- Study maths at level 3, an important skill valued by employers and universities.
- Work towards GCSE A* – C grade in maths and English (if you have not already achieved this).
- Stretch and challenge yourself to give you extra opportunities in training, employment or higher levels of education.
