Forging is the working of metal into a useful shape by hammering or pressing. Now you will have the chance to learn the basics of forging and make a Small Garden Item for yourself! Please note: This one-day course is quite demanding, requiring good fitness. Saturday: 09:15 - 16:00

Entry Requirements?

No previous experience required.

What will I study?

Please bring old, non-flamible clothing (no polyester), safety boots, safety glasses and an old pair of leather/hard wearing gloves. Materials will be covered for small items. An addtional charge may be made should you wish to make a large object.

How will I be taught?

Practical demonstration by the tutor One to one tuition within the group Individual/group discussion/evaluations of the practical work achieved
