At this time of year we are keen to plan and organise our garden or allotment and looking for some new ideas as to what to grow and how to do it. Saturday: 10:00 - 16:00

Students may wish to progress further on to other gardening classes within the College.

No previous experience required.

What will I study?

In this session we will look at alternative means of growing, making the best use of space, composting, rotation and new crops to try. There will be a practical component to this course. Please bring stout footwear and appropriate clothing for working outdoors. Self Service Refreshments & Snacks: Available to purchase from our Vending Machines. You are also welcome to bring a packed lunch with you.

How will I be taught?

Practical demonstrations led by the tutor; one-to-one tuition within the group; individual/group discussion/evaluations of the practical work achieved.
