What to bring: • pen and paper • modelling tools • Icing tubes • Food colours • Box/containers to take things home • Cake board square 12ins Please wear Sensible Shoes. No open shoes such as Sandals, Flip Flops or High Heels. Closed shoes, such as Leather or Trainers would be preferable. Please ensure your legs are suitably covered to protect yourself, No Shorts. It is essential to bring a Cook’s apron, Cloth or Plastic Saturday session: 10:00 - 16:00

Entry Requirements?

No previous experience required. It is for enthusiastic cake makers wanting to achieve more professional techniques and tricks of the trade.

What will I study?

A day workshop of cake making, modelling and designing. You will be: • modelling with sugarpaste and marzipan • cutting cakes to desired shape • making simple flowers, novelties/decorative ideas

How will I be taught?

Practical demonstrations led by the tutor. One-to-one tuition within the group. Individual/group discussion/evaluations of the practical work achieved.
