What will I study?
Various French pastries, fine viennoiseries - in a 3hr class with demonstration, and hands on help - step by step of the way. Please bring a clean apron, pen & paper, food containers, any small equipment, set of scales, tea towel. Please bring a pastry scraper to first session - further equipment will be advised throughout the course. Please wear sensible clothing within the kitchen, safe shoes, hair tied back, no scarves or jewellery.
How will I be taught?
Practical demonstrations led by the tutor; one to one tuition within the group; individual/group discussion/evaluations of the practical work achieved.
How will I be assessed?
Continuous classroom assessment based on Recognising and Recording Progress and Achievement (RARPA)
