Entry Requirements

English Language Grade 4 or above, Maths at a grade 3 or above plus 1 other GCSEs at grade 4 of above in any subject.

What you need to know

What will I study?

This qualification covers all the core skills you will need to progress to further learning and training, or to enter the world of work within the make-up industry. You will study the following mandatory content: Principles of working in the make-up industry Research, develop and showcase make-up and hair artistry designs The art of applying make-up Hair artistry Creative make-up artistry. Continue with Math's and English if relevant.

How will I be taught?

You will cover both theory and practical lessons, participate in shows and engage in industry workshops. You will also work with industry employers to connect your technical learning with real life work placement through work experience. You will also have a personal tutor to support you through your learning.

How will I be assessed?

To gain this qualification, candidates must successfully achieve the following: One externally set assignment. One externally set exam. Portfolio of evidence.
