Welcome to this Level 2 Public Services Course. When you join Chichester College you will take part in a number of Induction Activities, this will range from getting used to your surroundings to completing your enrolment on the course. The induction activities are ALL mandatory and as such enrich your enjoyment of the course. When you join, as one of the most successful courses in the college, we encourage you to aspire to acheive excellence in attendance, achievement throughout the year.

Entry Requirements

Completed your GCSEs including Grade 3 or above in English Language and 3 other GCSEs at grade (s) 3. Students who have completed a Level 1 in Sports & Public Services together with Key Skills in English and Mathematics will also be considered. Everyone interviewed for suitability of the course.

Career options

NCFE Level 3 in Uniformed Services and other courses are available upon completion of this course. All students without GCSE English Language or Mathematics at grade 4 are required to take Mathematics and English in order to improve their key skills

What will I study?

How will I be taught?

You will be given both theoretical & practical sessions to develop your knowledge & skills. As you develop, the demands placed on you will be gradually increased to ensure that you reach your potential by the end of the year. Throughout the year you will be supported by your lecturers & Student Tutor by means of regular reviews & support sessions.

How will I be assessed?

You will demonstrate your knowledge throughout the year by means of work you put into a portfolio.You will be supported in your studies by having all your course materials put onto our moodle site ChiOnline to access remotely if needed.
