Legislation places an obligation on food business proprietors to ensure that food production is carried out in a hygienic way and to identify and control critical food safety hazards. All food handlers must be supervised and instructed and/or trained in food hygiene matters to a level appropriate to their job. The course is directed at those working in kitchens or involved in the processing, preparation or retailing of food. Successful candidates will gain an accredited qualification form RSPH.
