This course is the second year of a two year programme for students who would like to become professional chefs. The course will build on skills you have studied in Year 1 preparing you to work in the hospitality industry which is creative, challenging as well as rewarding. Within the study programme, you will also work in our state of the art restaurant, both preparing and serving food, as well as visiting and working alongside visiting chefs from industry. We run a commercial hospitality operation within the college which will give students plenty of enterprise opportunities to prepare for their future.
There is a vast number of opportunities in the hospitality industry which will suit all students' aspirations. From local pubs, hotels and restaurants, to international hotel groups, private dining and large outside catering events.
