Course Details

The CIPD has launched a brand-new range of L&D qualifications that reflect the fast-changing landscape of the L&D profession, with digital and social collaborative learning embedded at the heart. The Level 3 Certificate, which is suitable for those who are starting out in L&D or have some basic knowledge already, has been updated and revised to include six compulsory modules based on new thinking in L&D.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for these programmes although students must demonstrate that they have the capabilities to undertake their chosen course. All students are required to join the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as student members.

Career options

This course leads to the Intermediate Level Diploma in L&D Practice, once Level 5 is completed, students can progress to the Advanced Level Post-Graduate Diploma in HR/L&D

How will I be taught?

Live lessons and collaborative working are the cornerstones of the teaching style at Chichester College. You will learn the principles of human resources practice through talks, group discussions, case studies, role-plays, and practical exercises. Throughout the programme you will be encouraged to relate theories and practice to your own organisation and experience both within class and written/practical assignments. You will be required to do study in your own time, 2-6 hours a week.

How will I be assessed?

The completion of an ongoing programme of written and practical work will assimilate your understanding and test your application of the knowledge and skills you have learnt.
