Course Details

Following extensive research in 2014, the CIM developed a new qualification portfolio to meet the demands of employers.The courses are structured in such a way that participants can study while working and make progress in a short period of time. The Integrated Communications module aims to enable understanding of the importance of effective internal and external communications in building sustainable relationships and delivering customer value.

Entry Requirements

One of the following: • CIM Level 3 Introductory Certificate in Marketing. • Any relevant Level 3 qualification. • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recognised University. • International Baccalaureate (equivalent to Level 3 and above). • Professional Practice: 1 year in a marketing role.

Career options

Completion of three Level 4 Awards in Professional Marketing will lead to the full CIM Level 4 Certificate in Professional Marketing qualification. The next step is to progress to the Level 6 CIM Diploma in Professional Marketing.

What will I study?

The Integrated Communications module aims to enable understanding of the importance of effective internal and external communications in building sustainable relationships and delivering customer value. It provides the opportunity to recognise the importance of integrated marketing communications (IMC) planning, the concept of product and brand management, and outlines the components of the marketing communications mix.

The assessment is an assignment submitted to the CIM.
