Course Details

The Edexcel BTEC Level 5 HND in Applied Biosciences develops a wide range of skills, knowledge and understanding needed to succeed in employment in biologically based industries. The course gives students the opportunity to take advantage of excellent science facilities situated in a purpose built environment. Students benefit from a large amount of tutor led class time (up to 14 hours a week) from our professional, friendly, and approachable staff. As a practically based course delivered through supported workshops, students will gain from a 'hands on' experience rather than purely ‘listening'. Students can then progress on to the second year HND (Level 5 Higher National Diploma) to fully complete the qualification.
