Course Details

Your course will explore a variety of topics from within the sporting industry. You will experience both practical and theoretical methods of teaching and learning. Assessment methods will be varied to suit your needs and maximise you potential in a fun and exciting environment. You will be studying full time on a course that is equivalent to three A Levels. Additionally as part of your programme you will have allocated time for Academy training and fixtures.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have at lease one of the following: * Five GCSEs at grades C/4 and above including GCSE English Language and Mathematics * BTEC Diploma in a related subject graded a minimum of a Merit and GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade C/4 or above

Career options

By choosing this qualification you will be starting your journey to many potential careers within the sports industry including roles such as PE Teaching or working within the fitness. Your course will also enable you to progress to University.

How will I be taught?

There is a variety of practical and theoretical teaching throughout the course, each year we aim to make the timetable balanced so students move between active sessions and academic sessions. This variety enables our students to remain focused and keeps a high level of enjoyment throughout their time at Chichester College.

How will I be assessed?

There are a variety of assessment methods within the course all of which are aimed at a more vocational method of study. These include presentations, practical skills demonstrations, exams and written assignments.
