Course Details

This course will include practical and theoretical elements of sport covering a wide variety of subjects. Each student will experience elements of fitness testing and training, sports psychology, anatomy and physiology, practical team sports and many more! The course develops the skills required to enter the sports industry in a wide variety of roles and allows students to progress onto University. This is a level three qualification that is the equivalent of three A Levels but is taught with the more vocational student in mind.

Entry Requirements

You will need to have at lease one of the following: * Five GCSEs at grades C/4 and above including GCSE English Language and Mathematics * BTEC Diploma in a related subject graded a minimum of a Merit and GCSE Mathematics and English Language at grade C/4 or above

How will I be taught?

There is a variety of practical and theoretical teaching throughout the course, each year we aim to make the timetable balanced so students move between active sessions and academic sessions. This variety enables our students to remain focused and keeps a high level of enjoyment throughout their time at Chichester College.

How will I be assessed?

There are a variety of assessment methods within the course all of which are aimed at a more vocational method of study. These include presentations, practical skills demonstrations, exams and written assignments.
