This top-up degree is accredited by the University of Chichester and have been specifically designed with employment in mind, aligning with current and future industry needs. The aim of the degree is to equip you with a well-rounded skill set, strong business acumen, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic business environment. The course focuses on applying theory to real-world business situations while building resilience with the workplace.
Developed in collaboration with past graduates, the course offers maximum flexibility and diverse teaching methods through a ‘blended learning’ approach, which includes interactive sessions, online resources/tasks, independent research, and personalised 1:1 support. Upon successful completion, students will graduate with a full BA Honours Degree in Business, awarded by the University of Chichester. This course is ideal for those with a Higher National Diploma (HND) or Foundation Degree at Level, or substantial experience in a managerial role.
The course is delivered on afternoon and evening per week, with additional self-directed study and research. It covers a wide range of contemporary business topics in depth. The Business Research module allows students to explore an areas of business that particularly interests them, fostering the development of strong research skills.
In addition to academic growth, the course also focuses on developing key employability skills, oping doors to opportunities across various industries, including graduate programs, further student, or Masters apprenticeships.

We look at each application individually, considering your grades, interview performance and any relevant experience. While we typically expect the following qualifications:
- HND in Business or a business-related subject
- Foundation Degree in Business

What do I need to prepare for my interview?
Following your application for the course, you will be invited to an interview with a member of lecturing team. You will also be expected to produce a written answer to a set topical question – this will help determine your suitability for the course.
Completing the Business Top Up Ba(Hons) opens the door to a variety of paths, for example, master’s level study, an apprenticeship, graduate employment or you could jump straight into the world of work. Here are some examples of positions that this qualification could lead to:
