Your Future

You could go on to work in  stables, riding schools, in animal welfare, equine healthcare and many more opportunities in this exciting and broad field. There are also options to continue study through apprenticeships and university courses.

What will I be doing?

You'll be caring for and up-keeping horses and their stables, communicating with clients through emails and telephone calls, training the horses and delivering lessons to your customers. Most of your work will be in and around the stables, but some administrative and customer service work will be office based. You may also get to travel in the UK and abroad.

What skills will I need?

You will need to enjoy working outside and be passionate about horses, as well as having strong team-working and communication skills and demonstrate empathy with horses and their owners.
