Getting back into higher education

If you’ve been out of education for some time and didn't take A-levels or their equivalents when you were at school and you now want to go to university, you can enrol for our Access to Higher Education courses which get you back into learning and prepare you for study at university level.

An Access Diploma is recognised by universities as a good preparation for their degree courses.  It's taught over one year and provides crucial study skills required by universities, such as research, essay writing and presentations.  Over three terms, students cover theory and practical work equivalent to three A levels.
