Chichester College is celebrating the start of summer, with the return of its free music festival later this month.
ChiFest will see the college campus come to life on Saturday 15 June with nine hours of live music across five stages, as well as an acoustic tent.
More than 50 live acts are set to perform at this musical extravaganza, showcasing the musical talents of college students (past and present) as well as local bands and choirs.
There will be plenty of family activities, with lots to keep the kids entertained including dance workshops, face painting and sing-a-longs.
Andrew Green, Executive Principal of the Chichester College Group, said: “ChiFest is one of our biggest events and is a great way to bring the college and community together.
“There is so much talent taking to the stage, from here at the college and from the local area.
“As always, there will be a diverse mix of music styles from folk to rock and everything in between – I’m especially looking forward to our celebration of the music of Queen!
“There really is something for everyone and it is a great day out, giving you a chance to relax – hopefully enjoy the sunshine with a soundtrack of fantastic live music.”
Performers at this year’s ChiFest - which is supported by the Chichester Music Academy and Ovation - include Lobster Pot, Bella Estelle, Wren and Suns Up. There will also be musical workshops and masterclasses, as well as food and drink.
ChiFest takes place on Saturday 15 June, midday until 9pm. Admission is free.
