Your Future

You could enter any of the uniformed public services, including army, navy, air force, police, fire brigade and the ambulance service, or move into coaching, teaching, playing or performing a variety of sports, either professionally or in sports and leisure centres and clubs.

What will I be doing?

You'll be choosing from a range of different trades within the uniformed public services. Office work does exist but is not a huge part of this sector. Roles are varied but generally involve decision-making, supporting team members, being fit and motivating others. Depending on the role, some foreign travel may be part of the job.
