Indoor Rock Climbing

Our eight metre Rock Climbing wall at The Sports Centre Chichester College offers a wide range of different climbing routes for novice or expert climbers, with grading ranging from F3-7. Climbing walls are a great way of keeping fit and having fun at the same time.

With around 60 routes on offer, 20 ropes up and an excellent lead facility, our wall is perfect for just about anyone, regardless of their experience.

With overhangs and traversing sections, there are exciting challenges for all climbers.

Can anyone climb?

All experienced climbers who know how to use a harness correctly, "tie-on" correctly and "belay" in a safe manner may attend any of our public sessions, after completion of a disclaimer form and a short assessment by our in-house instructor.

Assessed climbers can then supervise up to two novice climbers.

We welcome group bookings (in advance) which can make a fun day out for clubs or groups of friends.

*Please note to climb in our public sessions, children aged 16 and 17 years need to have their disclaimer form signed by their parent or guardian to climb on their own.

Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who also must be a competent climber.
